This web site is dedicated to definition and development of Semantic Patterns Language (SEMPL). The problem of computational semantics is a central for making computer systems intelligent. Ability to code and process semantics efficiently is becoming the next "big thing" of computer software and hardware evolution.

The fast growing Semantic Web project is an essential step to solve this problem. New trends in computing (pervasive computing) with the emphasis on intelligence of content processing and intellectual interfaces initiate the development of new methods like SEMPL and increase the importance of computational semantics problem solving.

SEMPL is a model for efficient coding of semantics. This is a new approach but it is supported by many years of successful development of the Universal Semantic Code (USC). The USC has already demonstrated applicability to multitude of problems. SEMPL’s technology innovation is beyond of new coding technique. This is a promising way to turn computer into a “thinking” partner and make communications more intelligent.

The objective of this project is engagement of researchers and developers in the discussion of the ways to build “ultimate” semantic language (sort of DNA of systems development), to create new methodology of system analysis and to define approaches to better solving industry significant problems with real semantics!
